"Do You Do...?"

That's our bread and butter. Public, private, charter — we come to your school with everything needed. STEM days, science nights, curriculum enrichment, end-of-year celebrations, grade-level rotations. We run multiple sessions back-to-back so every class gets the experience.

We also provide standards alignment documentation, which makes it easier for administrators to approve and for teachers to justify the program.

Yes! We partner with afterschool programs to provide weekly STEM enrichment. We bring everything — the school just needs to schedule us in.

Parents: If your school doesn't have us yet, ask them! We'd love to be there but we need your school to invite us in. A word from a parent to the ASP director or front office goes a long way.

School administrators: We're available and ready. Let's talk.

For recurring programs, ask about our series discount — 15% off when you book 4 or more dates.

This is one of our most frequently asked questions. We don't have our own brick-and-mortar location yet, so we don't run our own summer camps — but we're actively looking for a hosting facility. When we find the right space, we'll bring the awesome. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know.

In the meantime, if your summer camp or program wants STEM enrichment sessions, we come to YOU with everything needed. Same great programs, your location.

Yes! Birthday parties, corporate family events, church events, community gatherings — if you have a group of kids and a space, we can make it happen.

Rockets are the most popular birthday party program. Hard to beat a launch party. Your kid will be a legend.

Yes! Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Trail Life — we work with all of them. Several of our programs align with badge requirements. We can tailor sessions to focus on specific badge criteria if you let us know ahead of time.

Yes! Homeschool co-ops are a great fit. We bring the hands-on STEM experience, the equipment, and the expertise that's hard to replicate at home. Multi-week PBL series are especially popular with homeschool groups who want a progressive curriculum.

Yes to all of those. If you have a group of kids and a space, we can make it work.

What Do I Need to Know?

Everything but you and the kids. We bring all equipment, materials, supplies, and instruction. We handle setup, the session itself, and cleanup.

You bring the kids and an adult who's responsible for them — someone who handles bathroom trips, early pickups, and the normal stuff that comes with having a group of kids. We're focused on the STEM experience, not supervising logistics.

Every student builds their own project and takes it home.

Ages 4 and up. We have programs designed specifically for every level:

  • Pre-K & Kindergarten (ages 4-6): Sound Detectives, Magnet Explorers, Oobleck Adventure, Weather Station
  • Elementary (K-5): Compressed Air Rockets, Brush Bots, Paper Planes, and more
  • Middle School: Soldering, 3D Printing, Drone Pilot Training, Build a Radio
  • High School: Arduino, Ethical Hacking, Battle Bots, Tesla Coil Workshop, Metal Casting

Not sure which program fits your group? Tell us the age range and we'll recommend the best fit.

Most programs accommodate up to 20-25 students per session. Some programs (like soldering or electronics) work best with smaller groups of 8-10.

For larger groups, we run back-to-back sessions — same day, same location, different classes rotating through. We do this all the time and it works great.

Every. Single. Kid. Takes home what they built. That's non-negotiable for us. The take-home project is the conversation starter at dinner, the thing they show their friends and try to teach them how it works — which reinforces what they learned — and the reason parents ask "when are they coming back?"

Yes. Our instructors are vetted and approved for classroom instruction at the state and county level for both public schools and daycares — so you're in good hands. But we still need a responsible adult from your group present during the session. A teacher, troop leader, parent coordinator — whoever is normally in charge of the kids.

They handle the everyday stuff: bathroom breaks, early pickups, behavior issues, parent questions. We're focused entirely on delivering the STEM experience. It's a partnership: we bring the expertise and materials, you bring the kids and someone who's responsible for them.

  • You reach out — Tell us the ages, group size, and any programs you're interested in
  • We recommend a fit — Or you pick from our programs page
  • We make sure our plan meets your goals — Standards alignment, methodology (PBL, design thinking, journals), whatever matters to you and your admin
  • We schedule it — Pick a date and time that works
  • We show up with everything — 30-45 minutes early to set up
  • Every kid builds — Hands-on, guided instruction
  • They take it home — We clean up and we're out

Think of it as an in-house field trip. All the excitement, none of the buses.

Pricing & Booking

Sessions start at $400. More elaborate programs (soldering, metal casting, Tesla coils, etc.) cost more due to specialized equipment and materials, and some have group size or age recommendations.

Check our pricing page for full details on each program, multi-session options, and group sizes.

Yes! We're a fully mobile service — we come to your location. That's the whole point.

Free travel within 30 miles of Atlanta. Reasonable charges for greater distances. We regularly serve schools across the metro Atlanta area, including Cobb, Fulton, Cherokee, Paulding, Douglas, DeKalb, and Gwinnett counties. See our full service area map.

We recommend 2-4 weeks in advance. But honestly? We're still growing, and you might get lucky with same-day availability. Call us and find out: 704.293.0413.

As we get busier, popular dates will fill up fast — especially end-of-year celebrations, STEM weeks, and the spring season. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility we have.

We understand that school schedules change.

  • 7+ days before the session: Full refund
  • 48+ hours before: 50% refund
  • Less than 48 hours: We'll work with you to reschedule when possible

A 20% deposit is due upon booking confirmation, with the balance due within 30 days of invoice.

Absolutely. Many of our partner schools fund sessions through:

  • School foundations (often have more funding than the PTA)
  • PTA/PTO fundraising
  • Title I funds
  • Innovation grants (like Cobb Tank)
  • DonorsChoose campaigns
  • STEM-specific budget line items
  • Corporate sponsorships

We provide invoices, W-9s, and whatever documentation you need for your funding source. We also provide standards alignment documentation that helps justify the expense to administrators.

Logistics & Setup

Most programs need a classroom, multipurpose room, or cafeteria with tables. That's it.

A few programs have additional requirements:

  • Compressed Air Rockets: Outdoor field access (rockets fly hundreds of feet!)
  • Drones: Gym or large indoor space, or outdoor area
  • Blacksmithing & Metal Casting: Outdoor area with space for a forge

We'll tell you exactly what's needed when you book. No surprises.

We typically arrive 30-45 minutes early to set up and are cleaned up within 15-20 minutes after the session ends. Your staff doesn't need to lift a finger. We've done this a few times.

The space, the kids, and an adult who's in charge of them. That's it. We bring all equipment, materials, supplies, instruction, and even our own extension cords and power strips.

Access to electrical outlets is helpful for some programs (soldering, 3D printing) but not required for most.

And good weather would be nice, if you have that kind of pull. (For outdoor programs only. We can't launch rockets in the rain, but we can do just about everything else indoors.)

For programs that require outdoor space (like rockets), we monitor the weather and will work with you to:

  • Reschedule to a nearby date if possible
  • Switch to an indoor program for the day — we always have backup options
  • Wait it out if the forecast shows it clearing — we're flexible

We won't launch rockets in the rain, but we won't leave you without a plan either.

Programs & Curriculum

Absolutely. If you just want the fun, we can deliver. Birthday parties, STEM nights, end-of-year celebrations, scout events — you don't need to think about standards at all. The kids will still get the hands-on experience that drives and reinforces learning whether anyone writes it on a lesson plan or not.

Yes. If you DO need the standards alignment, we've got you covered. Every program includes documentation mapping to:

  • Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
  • Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE)
  • Common Core Math (where applicable)
  • CSTA Computer Science Standards
  • ISTE Standards for Students

We provide printed standards alignment sheets you can share with administrators, include in STEM certification portfolios, or attach to grant reporting.

Use our standards lookup tool to find programs by specific standard codes.

Absolutely. This is our most common setup for schools — we run 3-4 sessions in a row so every class in a grade level gets the experience. Same program, different groups rotating through.

Back-to-back sessions also qualify for multi-session discounts, so it's more cost-effective too.

Yes. We regularly customize programs for:

  • Specific curriculum units (tie the workshop to what you're teaching)
  • STEM nights and family events
  • Multi-week PBL (Project-Based Learning) partnerships
  • Scout badge requirements
  • Special events and themes

Tell us what you're looking for and we'll put together a plan.

A few things:

  • Real tools, not toys. Students solder with real soldering irons, launch rockets that fly hundreds of feet, forge metal at a real anvil, and print on professional 3D printers. If you're looking for a baking-soda volcano, we're not your people.
  • Every kid builds. Every kid takes it home. No watching. No demos where one kid tries it and 24 watch.
  • 100% screen-free. No apps. No tablets. No logins. Just real materials and real learning.
  • Programs you can't get anywhere else. Mini blacksmithing, metal casting, Tesla coil workshops — no other mobile provider offers these.
  • Standards-aligned documentation included. We make it easy to justify the program to administrators.

Safety

Yes. Every program is age-appropriate and designed with safety as the first priority. Our Pre-K programs (ages 4-6) use snap-together assembly, pre-cut materials, and zero sharp tools.

For older students using tools like soldering irons or working near heat, we provide direct supervision, safety equipment, and clear protocols. We've run hundreds of sessions with students of all ages without incident.

Our blacksmithing and metal casting programs have additional safety measures:

  • Heat-resistant gloves and safety glasses provided for every student
  • Strict safety perimeter around the forge
  • One-on-one supervision at the anvil
  • Students work at safe distances during casting
  • Fire extinguisher always on site

These programs require a 50% deposit due to the specialized equipment involved.
