Should you only buy Cricut-brand vinyl?
Our position, and the ecosystem-trust counterpoint.
Our position
Cricut-brand vinyl works. It also costs 2x-3x what equivalent Oracal 651 or Siser EasyWeed costs on Amazon. Third-party vinyl cuts cleanly on Cricut machines. The Cricut-brand premium is marketing, not chemistry. Stock third-party vinyl in volume, keep a small Cricut-brand reserve for grant-funded or showcase projects.
