Distance Challenge

Maximum Range Competition
🚀
The Challenge: Launch your rocket as far as possible! Find the angle that gives you maximum range.

Setup

How to Play

  1. Each player gets 3 launches
  2. Choose your angle for each launch
  3. Mark where your rocket first lands (not where it rolls)
  4. Measure distance from launch line to landing spot
  5. Your best distance counts!
  6. Farthest launch wins!
Physics Theory: In a vacuum, 45° gives maximum range. But with air resistance and rocket shape, the optimal angle is often 35-40°. Experiment to find your rocket's sweet spot!

Game Variants

Pro Tip: Watch your first launch carefully! If it seems to arc too high and fall short, try a lower angle. If it stays low and hits the ground early, try higher. Adjust based on what you observe!
