⛳
The Goal: Complete all holes in the fewest launches possible!
Course Setup
- Set up 5-9 "holes" (hula hoops or marked circles) around the field
- Each hole has a "tee" (launch spot) marked with a cone
- Holes should vary in distance: short (30 ft), medium (60 ft), long (100+ ft)
- Add obstacles: players must go AROUND trees, over fences, etc.
- Assign a "par" (expected launches) to each hole
Example Course
5-hole course, Par 14
How to Play
- Start at Hole 1's tee - launch toward the hole
- Move launcher to where your rocket landed
- Launch again until rocket lands IN the hole (hoop)
- Count your launches - that's your score for the hole
- Move to next hole's tee and repeat
- Lowest total score wins!
Scoring
- Hole-in-One: Land in the hole on first launch = -2 (two under par)
- Under Par: Fewer launches than par = negative score (good!)
- Par: Expected number of launches = 0
- Over Par: More launches than par = positive score (bad)
- Max Score: Double par, then move on (prevents one bad hole from ruining game)
Course Design Tips: Include at least one "dogleg" hole where players can't shoot straight at the target. Add a water hazard (marked zone) - landing there adds +1 stroke. Make the final hole challenging but achievable!
