Pay the extra $10-$20 and buy genuine Elenco Snap Circuits. The look-alikes save money up front and cost you in durability, missing parts, and a manual you can't read.
The brand premium here is real engineering quality control on small parts that get dropped, snapped, and handled hundreds of times in a classroom. The knockoffs do not survive the year.
