About This Program
Brush bots (also called bug bots) are the perfect introduction to robotics for younger makers. Using just a toothbrush head, a small vibration motor, and a battery, students create little robots that scurry across the table.
It's simple enough for 6-year-olds but fascinating enough to capture anyone's imagination. Students learn about circuits, motors, and balance - all while decorating their bots to give them personality!
What Students Learn
- Simple circuit building (motor + battery)
- How vibration creates movement
- Balance and weight distribution
- Creative customization
- Basic troubleshooting
Session Format
